We spend a lot of time thinking about New Year's resolutions in late December. But what if the calendar has been hiding an even better moment to take stock?

Last week, we crossed the midpoint of the year. It's one of the few times we can look back at what we've accomplished while still having plenty of time to correct course. The midpoint also offers something January can't: perspective. Once you have it, the right resolution often becomes surprisingly clear.
