Along with the celebrations of the last couple of weeks, we've just put the cap on our 90th anniversary. We've come a long way in the last 90 years, and I'm excited to see where we're headed next. The orchards are a little quieter this time of year, though there's always work to be done. Since our Royal Riviera‍® Pear trees are dormant for the winter, crews are taking the opportunity to do some pruning in preparation for next spring's bloom. There's plenty of winter fruit to enjoy in the meantime, like Royal Beurre® Bosc pears. These elegant fruits are excellent for baking, with a sweet and earthy flavor that's reminiscent of your spice cupboard. Another favorite this time of year are HoneyBells—an exceptionally juicy citrus fruit that fans eagerly wait for each January.
