Weddings are among our oldest and most enduring rituals. Across cultures and generations, they follow a familiar pattern of toasts, music, and traditions that connect the present moment to a much longer story.

Yet the real power of these celebrations is their ability to bring together people from entirely different chapters of a couple's life. For a few hours, they create a sense of community and presence that’s becoming hard to find anywhere else.

I've been fortunate to play a small role in thousands of weddings over the years. While styles and traditions have changed, people still come together to celebrate love, family, and commitment.

Some of the moments I remember most involve the small details. A few roses tucked into a cherished family keepsake. A last-minute challenge overcome just before the ceremony begins. Those experiences taught me that on a wedding day, every detail matters because every detail means something to someone.
